To begin with, IT'S GREAT!!! I rode the train 3 times, in my birthday (Dec. 19, 2004), the first day that the train
opened, on Jan. 6, 2005 and March 26, 2005. WOW, it accelerates pretty fast but you really don't feel it! And it went pretty
smoothly except for once that the train had to stop because a train had delayed and was ahead of us, but that was only for
about 15 seconds. The view is Excellent!!! And being underground was really cool, even though it was not too much. The first
day, security looked like there was going to be a terrorist attack. Security was GREAT, police on the plataform, on the train,
on the conductor's cabin and by police, I mean government, municipal and private police! AND BEST OF ALL, a computer tells
you in the train the next station and on a display overhead it also shows the next station. The ticket machines are really
easy to use (I used them) and the card is rechargable, so you can use it again and again!!! On the station, it tells you if
the train is delayed and the personel was really helpful. BUT I did not like one thing, when my friend (Rafael V.) took a
photo with Flash, immedeatly by the intercom and by the overhead display, they warned not to use flash because the
conductor may be blinded, bla, bla, bla... I think it's an invasion of privacy, they have camaras everywhere!!! IT WAS
REALLY SAFE though!!! And Best Of All, IT WAS FREE!!! (IT'S FREE UNTIL Mid-Jult 2005) More Details Below...
